SEPCOR 3A Molecular Sieve
SEPCOR 3A Molecular sieves are the premier adsorbent for drying and purifying olefinic gases and/or liquids. The 3-angstrom pore opening is highly selective to water and exclusionary to other molecules with diameters <3 angstroms. 3A molecular sieves provide high capacity drying. with a low olefin heat of adsorption and the ability to dry to <0.01 ppmv H2O.
Applications include C2 feed dehydration, NGL feedstocks, ethylene, and propylene. 3A molecular sieve is especially useful in drying ethanol, natural gases with high hydrocarbon content, and the cryogenic production of LPG. 3A bead products are used in the dehydration of FCC off gas, and mixed butane/butylene feedstocks.

SEPCOR 4A bead products provide ruggedness with high capacity drying and is used in natural gas streams to reach cryogenic levels prior to fractionation. Other Applications include C2/C3 feed dehydration, NGL feedstocks, natural gas, and air.

SEPCOR 5A molecular sieve is mainly applied to separate normal from iso alkanes . It will adsorb the moleculars which can pass through in 3A and 4A molecular sieve and whose diameters are less than five angstroms. 5A molecular sieve has high capacity for water, CO2, and H2S. 5A molecular sieve functions in adsorbing C3-C4, ethane chloride, ethane bromide, and butanol. It is used in the purification and drying of various gases through pressure swing adsorption in the production of oxygen, hydrogen and air drying.

SEPCOR 13X bead products are the premier adsorbent for drying, purifying, and/or separating gases and/or liquids. The 9.8-angstrom pore opening is highly selective to water and other polar molecules with diameters <10 angstroms.
13X bead products provide superior adsorption capacity for a wide range of polar organic compounds that could cause catalyst deactivation and other performance problems. These compounds include sulfur-based molecules such as mercaptans, sulfides, and disulfides; nitrogen-based molecules such as nitriles, amines, amides, and pyridines; oxygenated hydrocarbon molecules such as alcohols, glycols, aldehydes, ketones, ethers, and peroxides; and other compounds such as water, carbon dioxide, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, benzene, trace olefins, and polycyclic aromatics.
13X bead products are also used for general gas drying and air plant feed purification; i.e. simultaneous removal of water and carbon dioxide. SEPCOR 13X beads can be easily packaged in small containers for desiccant applications such as the protection of equipment or parts against the corrosive action of atmospheric gases.
